Job summary

Abacum is seeking a Professional Services Associate to drive customer success through implementations, delivering value on the Abacum platform. You will onboard, train, and support clients, transforming them into Abacum experts.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Product to shape innovations, with strong FP&A knowledge and client-facing skills essential to success.

Qualifications

• Experience explaining financial concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strong grasp of FP&A processes (budgeting, forecasting, reporting, consolidation).
• Proficiency in building financial models in Excel.

What You’ll Do as and Professional Services Associate:

• Delivery of implementation projects, driving customers to success and value realization on the platform.
• Follow project plans, respecting deadlines, and communicating proactively about progress and risks.
• Craft best-in-class financial models to optimize and enhance clients' existing processes.
• Onboard, train, and support clients, transforming them into Abacum experts.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to brainstorm and develop innovations in our features.

You have…

• 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing a financial planning/EPM platform; this is a requirement, not a nice-to-have (such as Anaplan, Adaptive, Drivetrain, Pigment, or similar).
• Ability to explain financial and technical concepts clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of FP&A processes (budgeting, forecasting, reporting, consolidation), enough to challenge a client's assumptions, not just document them.
• Proficiency with Excel and ability to build financial models.
• Experience with SaaS project tools and Agile/hybrid methodologies.
• Strong client-facing communication, comfortable presenting to and influencing senior finance stakeholders.
• Formal Project Management Qualifications are a plus, not a requirement.
