We are seeking a highly skilled Unified Communications Upgrade Project Engineer to lead a comprehensive upgrade of our OpenScape Voice and Collaboration environment. This role involves planning, executing, testing, and supporting upgrades across various OpenScape components, ensuring minimal business disruption and full compliance with supported configurations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead version upgrades across OpenScape and integrated third-party systems.
• Collaborate with Voice, Network, UC, and Infrastructure teams for seamless integration.
• Manage system testing, rollback strategies, and deployment schedules.
• Document procedures and provide technical support during and after upgrades.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Unified Communications, particularly with OpenScape or Mitel.
• Proven success in complex UC upgrade projects.
• Strong knowledge of SIP Trunking, SBCs, VMware, and IP telephony.
• Experience with change control, project coordination, and risk mitigation.
• Certifications in OpenScape, Mitel, or VMware are a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ASC voice recording, DAKS alerting, and Polycom systems.
• Ability to work independently and with remote teams.
