Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring Professional Security Officers for full-time roles at our Valley Park, MO site. You will monitor premises, control access, patrol, and enforce client site directives while delivering professional customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong computer/tech skills, calm under pressure, and the ability to work independently. Shift is 3PM–11PM; wage is $19.75 per hour plus benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401K.

Qualifications

• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises, including access control and patrolling the site.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property and meeting check points.
• Guard shack access control duties.
• Camera monitoring.
• Carry out tasks of similar nature and scope as assigned.

$19.75/HR

Available Shift:

3PM - 11PM

Our Professional Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.

• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.

• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Above average computer / technology skills needed.

• Valid Drivers License required.
