Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Valley Park, MO is seeking Professional Security Officers for full-time day-to-evening coverage.

Officers will monitor premises, perform access control, patrol various locations, and enforce site rules to maintain safety and order for our clients. Ideal candidates have strong customer service, reliable teamwork, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently and remain calm under stress.
• Must have attention to detail and vigilance during shift.
• Must respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to clients' employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property and meeting check points.
• Guard shack access control duties.
• Camera monitoring.
• Carry out tasks of similar nature for assigned site.

Professional Security Officers - Full Time

Primary Location: Valley Park, MO

Wage: $19.75/HR

Available Shift: 3PM - 11PM

Our Professional Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid Drivers License required.
• Open availability preferred.
• Must be alert and observant.
• Must have a strong professional appearance.
