Qualifications

• Completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program or equivalent grooming training.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to judge breed standards and perform grooming accordingly.
• Independent problem solving with guidance as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for animals.
• Knowledge of breed-specific cuts and grooming standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication with pet parents.
• Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services per client instructions.
• Operate and maintain grooming tools.
• Prioritize safety and well-being of pets.
• Assess needs based on coat type and temperament.
• Provide grooming recommendations and client education.
• Maintain clean, hygienic salon and equipment.
