Qualifications

• Completion of Pet Stylist Apprentice program or grooming program.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends/evenings/holidays as required.
• Strong attention to detail and grooming accuracy.
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes with care and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning.
• Operate and maintain grooming tools (clippers, blades, shears, brushes, dryers).
• Prioritize pet well‑being and safety; monitor for discomfort or illness and report concerns.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide excellent customer service.
• Educate pet parents on grooming maintenance and at‑home care.
