Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of pet grooming experience.
• Must provide own grooming tools or be willing to purchase.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of Petsense training provided is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Follow and demonstrate Petsense by Tractor Supply Mission and Values.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours, days, nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Answer phone and schedule appointments.
• Assist in generating business by calls, scheduling, reminders and vaccinations verification.
• Book appointments and greet pets when they arrive.
• Complete and maintain grooming forms and checklists.
• Adhere to grooming safety procedures and customer instructions.
• Clip fur with clippers, combs and shears; shape coats as requested.
• Monitor pets for stress and safety during appointments.
• Maintain cleanliness of grooming areas and tools.
