EK is seeking a hands-on Painter with a focus on quality and safety to join our Madison team. You will mask, mix primers and topcoats, and apply coatings using airless spray equipment while ensuring strict adherence to SOPs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work within established quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills – ability to clearly understand instructions and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Interpersonal skills – teamwork in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

• Mask, cover, and protect surfaces before painting.
• Mix primers and topcoats following SOP.
• Prepare substrates.
• Apply primers/topcoats using airless spray equipment.
• Apply stripe coats according to SOP.
• Identify non-compliant work and take corrective action.
• Touch-up finished pieces as necessary.
• Clean and maintain spray equipment.
• Maintain quality control hold points and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
