Job summary

EK in Madison, WI seeks an experienced paint technician to join a hands-on team focused on quality and safety. You will mask surfaces, mix primers and topcoats, and apply coatings with airless spray equipment to meet strict standards.

Strong attention to detail and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Properly mask, cover, and protect surfaces not to be painted.
Mix primers and topcoats following SOP training for proper application.
Perform and recognize proper substrate preparation.
Follow all safety rules and requirements.
Apply primers and topcoats using airless spray equipment to meet quality standards.
Apply stripe coats of primer to designated areas per SOP.
Identify non-compliant work and take corrective action.
Apply touch-up to finished pieces as necessary.
Clean and maintain spray equipment to ensure proper operation.
Follow all quality control holds and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
