Job summary

Chestnut Mountain Resort seeks a dependable Professional Painter to prepare surfaces, apply paint and finishes, and maintain high-quality workmanship in a safe, clean work environment.

You will handle masking, sanding, priming, and finishing, work with brushes, rollers, and spray equipment, and adapt to residential and commercial projects. This full-time role offers competitive pay, vacation, health/dental/vision, a 401(k), and opportunities for training and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous painting experience preferred (residential and/or commercial).
• Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders and scaffolding.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and priming.
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Protect furniture, floors, and fixtures with drop cloths and masking materials.
• Mix and match paint colors as needed.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain painting tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
• Clean work areas after each project.
