Smart Construction is seeking detail-oriented Residential Painters for projects in the Bear Lake Valley, ranging from high-end cabins to new homes and refreshes. You will focus on sharp lines, clean setups, and top-quality workmanship, with opportunities to train the right candidates and earn overtime with a 401(k) match.

Responsibilities include surface prep, masking, paint application, and maintaining a safe, tidy job site.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in residential painting or finishing preferred (will train individuals with the right work ethic).
• Strong proficiency with brushes, rollers, masking techniques, and basic ladder safety.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to travel between job sites in the Bear Lake area.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and climb for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Professional attitude, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to showing up on time.

• Masking & Protection: Taping off trim, covering floors/furniture, and protecting client property thoroughly.
• Application: Applying paint, stains, and protective coatings professionally using brushes, rollers, and airless sprayers.
• Job Site Maintenance: Maintaining a clean, safe workspace and executing thorough end-of-day cleanups.
