Job summary

Paul Davis Restoration is seeking a full-time Disaster Restoration crew member in Jacksonville, FL. You will handle pack-out/in of contents, assist with loading and unloading, and perform demolition per IICRC standards while coordinating with customers on-site.

The role includes driving company vehicles, lifting heavy items, and participating in 24-hour on-call rotations for emergency losses. Benefits and overtime options are available, with standard Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to perform demolition work, including climbing, working in extreme temperatures, and in confined spaces.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Complete pack-out and pack-in of customer's contents, ensuring all items are properly documented and brought back to the warehouse for cleaning and restoration.
• Assists with the pick-up, transportation, and delivery of household goods/equipment.
• Routinely involves lifting, movement and placement of heavy items by hand or with assistive equipment.
• May be required to pack, unpack and wrap/unwrap household goods items per customer specifications.
• Disassemble and reassemble furniture items.
• Perform disaster response, emergency mitigation, water extraction, structural drying, and demolition per IICRC standards.
• Set dehumidifiers, fans, air purifiers, and other equipment at the work site.
• Remove drywall, carpets, insulation, etc. and perform general demolition after a loss.
• Act as daily on-site contact for the customer, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.
• Drive company vehicles, including water trucks, trailers, and other machinery.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete pack-out and pack-in of customer's contents, ensuring all items are properly documented and brought back to the warehouse for cleaning and restoration.

Hours:

Full-Time, Permanent, Monday to Friday 7:15 am to 4:30pm, Optional Overtime included.

• Participate in our 24 hours on call rotation, responding to emergency losses after hours and on weekends, as dictated by the on-call schedule.
