Job summary

City of Ballwin Parks & Recreation is seeking a lifeguard for on-site roles at our community pool. The position involves maintaining a safe aquatic atmosphere, enforcing rules, and responding to emergencies as needed.

The role requires professional conduct and the ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends to support programs and events. Ideal candidates hold ARC Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, with training for Waterpark Lifeguards available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• ARC Lifeguard, CPR/AED, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens training required.
• Waterpark Lifeguard training preferred.
• Training available.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe aquatic environment for the public.
• Enforce all pool rules and regulations.
• Attend mandatory in-service training monthly.
• Maintain pool, deck, and related facilities.
• Assist with recreation programs and events.
