Job summary

Robert Hadley Associates, a top regional law firm, seeks an experienced attorney for its Hackensack, NJ office to join the Professional Liability Group. Must have at least six years of litigation experience, with strong background in non-medical professional liability or employment practices liability matters.

Candidate should be able to manage complex litigation independently and supervise junior attorneys and staff.

Qualifications

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar (required)
• Minimum of six (6) years of litigation experience
• Significant experience handling professional liability (non-medical) and/or employment practices liability matters
• Proven ability to independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
• Experience taking and defending depositions, managing discovery, drafting and arguing motions, and participating in mediation and settlement negotiations
• Demonstrated leadership experience supervising, mentoring, and developing junior attorneys and legal staff
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Excellent client management and communication skills

Responsibilities
