Job summary

Ideal3 is seeking an experienced and licensed Professional Liability Claims/Coverage Attorney to join our remote team. This role offers 100% remote work, competitive benefits, and a collaborative environment focused on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with active good standing in any state; NY license a plus.
• Insurance industry professional liability experience desired.
• E&O experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Word, Outlook, Excel and related applications.

Attorney Salary Range:

$110,000 to $130,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The role will involve handling professional liability claims, including lawyers, accountants, and A&E, from inception through resolution. You will drive coverage, investigation, analysis, and strategy in a creative and collaborative environment to achieve resolution fairly, efficiently, and economically. You will be conducting thorough investigations, interviews, and document reviews to establish and recommend accurate reserves and make settlement recommendations based on the most likely outcome given all available information. You will be responsible for providing our clients with timely reporting and recommendations and will work proactively with defense counsel, insureds, brokers, and carriers, including managing litigation strategy, to assess, evaluate, and resolve claims by assessing, evaluating, and negotiating settlements. Training will be provided.

Education and Experience:

• Licensed attorney: License must be active and in good standing in any state. NY license is a plus.
• Must have Insurance industry PL experience.
• E&O experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel, and other applications.
