Job summary

LeoForce seeks a Senior Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in California to lead boundary research, ALTA/Records of Survey, and right-of-way mapping projects. The role requires extensive CA boundary law knowledge and strong client interaction across teams.

Qualifications

• Active California Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required.
• Extensive experience performing boundary research, analysis, and resolution.
• Strong knowledge of California boundary law, subdivision mapping, and land surveying principles.
• Experience preparing ALTA surveys, Records of Survey, legal descriptions, plats, exhibits, parcel maps, and right-of-way mapping.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
• Experience processing and interpreting field survey data while integrating historical record information.
• Ability to provide QA/QC oversight for survey deliverables and mapping products.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, agencies, title companies, and project teams.
• Passion for mentoring survey staff and contributing to technical excellence across the department.
