Job description

Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a Professional Land Surveyor in the Warrenville IL area.

This is a full-time, long-term position with a busy Civil Engineering Firm.

Salary range: 75K to 115k

Full benefits package: Medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid vacation, and holidays.

Duties:

1. Communicate with clients and project managers to determine work scope of survey projects, accommodate work requests, and create work orders.
2. Perform CAD based calculations and boundary analysis.
3. Perform CAD tasks in the preparation of Construction, ALTA, Boundary, Topographic and Plats of Subdivision.
4. Ability to competently read civil drawings, including complex details, and successfully interpret for construction layout.
5. Perform project research of recorded survey documents, maps, plats, and deeds.
6. QA/QC and supervising the preparation of survey drawings and documents.
7. Perform field work when necessary.
8. Train interns and entry-level staff.

Qualifications:

1. Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Illinois.
2. Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
3. Candidate must be reliable, dependable, responsible, and detail-oriented.
4. Valid driving license and driving record acceptable to our company insurance provider.
5. Ability to work independently with a diverse project team.
6. Proficiency in operating Trimble GPS/VRS and Robotic Total Stations is preferred.
7. Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident (without sponsorship).
