Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is seeking a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor for our Laurel, MD office. Candidates should have experience managing a survey group. Responsibilities include contract administration, project management, coordinating with survey crews, preparing plats and legal descriptions, and performing all land surveying tasks such as boundary, topographical, and construction staking.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Ability to perform all land surveying aspects
• Thorough knowledge of land development surveys; ability to train less experienced staff
• Licensed Professional Surveyor
• Experience with survey equipment (e.g., Trimble Total Stations, GPS)
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide internal and field staff to ensure efficient surveys, referencing known points and features, and reviewing data for accuracy
