Job summary

A well-established engineering firm in Las Vegas is seeking a full-time Professional Land Surveyor to support its team. The role involves maintaining client relationships, preparing proposals, and overseeing projects. Candidates must possess a Nevada PLS license and the ability to handle physical tasks. Qualifications

Overview

Sunrise Engineering is currently initiating a search for a full-timeProfessional Land Surveyor to support our growing organization. This Full Time position is based in our Las Vegas, Nevada office during our business hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM.

Your Impact

The PLS has an entrepreneurial drive to work with our team in Northern Utah. Sunrise uses the latest technology including Trimble GPS & Robots, AutoCad Civil3D, DJI UAVs, and Leica Scanning platforms.

• Working closely with office staff to finish jobs.
• Maintain and manage existing client relationships.
• Prepare proposals for new opportunities.
• Track/review key performance indicators for the department.
• Oversight on a variety of projects.

Qualifications

• PLS (Professional Land Surveyor) license for state of Nevada
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Employee may be asked to walk on uneven surfaces, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, hike up and down steep slopes carrying up to 50 pounds of survey equipment, bend, squat, dig monument holes, pound in stakes and rebar monuments.
• Climb stairs, sit for extended periods of time, work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time, type/key-in data, and answer telephones frequently as needed.
