Job summary

Sunrise Engineering, Inc. is seeking a full-time Professional Land Surveyor for our Las Vegas, Nevada office to support a growing practice. The role includes supervising project work, mentoring staff, and maintaining client relationships on a variety of surveying projects.

You will work closely with office staff, utilize Trimble GPS & Robots, AutoCad Civil3D, DJI UAVs, and Leica scanning tools, and be expected to prepare proposals and track KPIs for the department. Nevada PLS license required.

Qualifications

• PLS (Professional Land Surveyor) license for state of Nevada.
• Physically able to walk on uneven surfaces, lift and carry survey equipment up to 50 pounds.

Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00

How to Succeed

• PLS (Professional Land Surveyor) license for state of Nevada
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Employee may be asked to walk on uneven surfaces, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, hike up and down steep slopes carrying up to 50 pounds of survey equipment, bend, squat, dig monument holes, pound in stakes and rebar monuments.
• Climb stairs, sit for extended periods of time, work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time, type/key-in data, and answer telephones frequently as needed.
