Job summary

A Tucson-based geospatial firm is seeking a Licensed Land Surveyor (PLS) or Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) as a Geospatial Surveying Project Manager. Job Title: RLS or LSIT - Geospatial Surveying Project Manager

Department: Surveying

SUMMARY

We’re a Tucson-based geospatial firm seeking a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) with strong project management experience to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate land surveying/geospatial projects.
  • Prepare project estimates, budgets, and proposals.
  • Support field crews and ensure data accuracy.
  • Communicate with clients and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
  • PLS (Arizona) or LSIT with path to licensure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • 3+ years experience in surveying or geospatial work.
  • Proficient in CAD and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience writing proposals and estimating.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to carry 50 pounds of equipment up and down steep mountains.
  • Ability to work outdoors in uncomfortable weather conditions.
  • Ability to be on your feet 8 to 10 hours a day, including remote work locations.
  • Experience with safety protocols and procedures in field operations.
Preferred
  • Familiarity with Arizona land regulations.
  • Public sector or DOT project experience.
