An established municipal organization is seeking a skilled Surveying Supervisor to lead surveying projects and staff. This role involves overseeing the Capital Improvement Program, ensuring accurate data processing, and providing essential CAD drawings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in land surveying, along with extensive experience in surveying techniques and supervisory roles. Duties include:
A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in land surveying, or a related science degree with major course work in land surveying; and five years of survey experience, as well as two years supervisory experience, required. Must have experience with Robotic Total Station equipment as well as Trimble GPS equipment. Experience using AutoDesk Civil 3D, Eagle Point Data Reduction for Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center software preferred.
Must have a Texas Registered Public Land Surveyor license (see tsps.org for licensing requirements), a valid Texas driver’s license and a good driving record.
Starting pay for this position will fall in the median of the full pay range.
PAY GRADE GG26 / FULL PAY RANGE $6,741 - $9,504 PER MONTH
