Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join the firm in our Burnsville, MN, office to work with multi-disciplinary teams on State, Local Government, and private projects, primarily in the transportation arena.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Supervise and review work on ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys; Boundary and Topographic Surveys; Subdivision Plats; Right-of-Way Plats, Property Descriptions; As-built Surveys, and a variety of other types of surveys.
  • Prepare survey drawings and descriptions utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D and other related software packages.
  • Management and coordination of numerous internal and external survey projects, simultaneously, and interaction with clients on a regular basis.
  • Providing direct supervision, scheduling staff, and performing quality control.
  • Communicates and coordinates schedules with clients and project team.
  • Monitors teams work and progress.
  • Prepare and assist in preparing proposals and budgets for projects.
  • Assist in business and client development.
