Job summary

Mi-Tech Services Inc. is hiring a Land Surveyor – Survey Technician in Missouri. Primary duties include boundary, easement, deed and title reviews, performing surveys independently or with mentorship, and conducting construction staking across multiple industries.

The role also involves producing 3D models and road corridors. Qualified candidates will hold a Professional Land Surveying (PLS) license (or be able to obtain it per project/state requirements), possess a high school diploma or GED,

Qualifications

• PLS licensure required or ability to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant surveying experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Trimble survey equipment and related software.

Responsibilities

• Execute boundary, easement, deed and title reviews.
• Perform boundary surveys independently or with mentorship.
• Carry out construction staking across multiple industries and produce 3D models and road corridors.

What it takes?

• Professional Land Surveying (PLS) license in at least one U.S. state, or ability to obtain required professional licensure based on project and state requirements.
• High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
• 5+ Years of relevant experience is preferred
• Proficient in operating Trimble survey equipment
• Ability to read and comprehend engineering plans and construction documents, correspondence, and memos
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that is approved by our insurance provider
