Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Housekeeper/Janitor in Miami, FL to perform cleaning and maintenance in indoor and outdoor environments. You will inspect work, follow safety procedures, and report to a Supervisor, with a schedule that includes multiple shifts.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, custodial experience is preferred, and strong customer service and communication skills are essential. Salary is $15.30 per hour with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and maintenance duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash disposal, and window cleaning.
• Inform Supervisor of needed supplies and report discrepancies.
• Maintain cleaning solutions per OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals.
• Remove trash and assist in emergency cleaning as needed.
• Operate new equipment safely and follow procedures.
• Maintain friendly, professional attitude at all times.
• Ensure sanitary supplies are stocked and area is clean.
• Inspect areas daily and report issues to Supervisor.
