Job summary

Med-National Staffing Inc. seeks a reliable janitorial technician to operate floor care equipment such as auto-scrubbers, buffers, and carpet extractors to strip, scrub, shampoo, and wax floors.

You will clean surfaces, mop, vacuum, and use disinfectants, following safety procedures and schedules for large areas, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Excellent reading and following instructions, teamwork with staff and faculty, and the ability to work from ladders or scaffolding as needed are

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to operate large powered vacuum cleaners and buffing equipment.
• Ability to interact respectfully with faculty, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Operates floor care equipment (auto-scrubbers, buffers, carpet extractors) to strip, scrub, shampoo, and wax floors.
• Cleans identified areas, walls, windows, and related surfaces; uses cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in clean, orderly condition and follows safety procedures.
