Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with technical teams on a variety of projects, including site investigations, remediation, environmental due diligence, litigation support, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide solutions to our clients' environmental issues.
  • Maintain a high level of quality and client service.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) license in Washington State.
  • At least 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, including site investigations, remediation systems design and operation, and implementation of engineering controls in Washington State.
  • Strong understanding of MTCA, RCRA, and CERCLA regulations.
  • Experience with NPDES and KCIW discharge permits.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare proposals, reports, and formal documentation.
  • Proficiency in CADD and engineering design.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 20% of the time).
  • Commitment to safety and knowledge of state and federal health and safety regulations.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience communicating with regulators at various levels.
  • Familiarity with GIS, data management, and laboratory procedures.
  • Experience with independent cleanups and voluntary cleanup programs.
  • Specialized knowledge in PFAS cleanup, air compliance, or sediment cleanup.
  • Established client relationships.
Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position in the Seattle area is $110,000 to $155,000, based on factors such as education, experience, and internal equity. This range is part of a comprehensive compensation package, which includes opportunities for salary increases based on individual performance.
