Job summary

A growing engineering services firm is seeking a Civil Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineering License. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in transportation engineering design and strong project management skills. Responsibilities include civil engineering design, oversight of junior staff, and effective communication with clients and team members. Competitive salary range is $100,000 - $150,000 per year, with strong benefits and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineering License required.
• Minimum of 5 years of Transportation Engineering Design Experience.
• Manage work assignments for Junior Engineers, CAD technicians and other support staff.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects including roadway and bridge design.
• Conduct engineering analysis and report findings.
• Oversee project management from inception to completion.

Job Details

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in Pier design
• Civil Engineering Design skills, especially in roadway and bridge design and storm sewer design.
• Professional Engineering License required
• Minimum Of 5 Years Of Transportation Engineering Design Experience
• Effective communication skills to work with team members and clients.
• Project management skills, especially in managing projects from inception to completion.
• Manage work assignments for Junior Engineers, CAD technicians and other support staff.
• Familiarity with relevant computer software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of the AASHTO Green Book, Roadside Design Guide, the Highway Capacity Manual, ODOT/TxDOT design standard & Brown book and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices is desired.
