Salary: $80,000-$130,000 (based on experience)

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Civil Engineering Professional. GUY is a Civil engineering firm that provides services for roadway and bridge design, surveying, utility relocation coordination, reconnaissance, bridge inspection, right-of-way acquisition, and utility design. Its clients are throughout Oklahoma, and a candidate can look forward to an active role on state department of transportation and/or municipal transportation-related projects. The role is based in Houston, TX, but some work-from-home is acceptable.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
2. Civil Engineering Design skills, especially in roadway and bridge design and storm sewer design.
3. Professional Engineering License required.
4. Minimum of 5 years of transportation engineering design experience.
5. Effective communication skills to work with team members and clients.
6. Project management skills, especially in managing projects from inception to completion.
7. Manage work assignments for Junior Engineers, CAD technicians, and other support staff.
8. Familiarity with relevant computer software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Working knowledge of the AASHTO Green Book, Roadside Design Guide, the Highway Capacity Manual, ODOT design standard & Brown book, and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices is desired.
