Job Title: Software Engineer

Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Software Engineer for its Plano, TX location.

Responsibilities:

1. Designing, modifying, developing, and implementing technology solutions.
2. Building modern, architecturally sound components, tools, and applications to meet strategic business goals.
3. Participating in an environment transitioning to Agile methodology, adhering to best practices, and collaborating effectively with team members.
4. Infusing quality characteristics such as scalability, manageability, and maintainability into distributed service-based frameworks.
5. Evaluating, correcting, and preventing vulnerabilities during software development.
6. Documenting development iterations and ensuring the quality of technical documentation.
7. Participating in code and design reviews with network, infrastructure, and solutions engineering teams.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Two (2) years of progressive experience in a related role, including experience with Java mail, Spring Boot, REST API development, unit testing with Junit, Mockito, Sonarqube, Oracle SQL, SQL Anywhere, Terraform, AWS Lambda, Datadog, Jenkins, and Git.
