Our pet bathers are an integral part of our busy salons, focusing on bathing dogs of all sizes and temperaments to ensure they look their best. Additional responsibilities include brushing, trimming nails, and performing add-on services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of each pet, handling pets with skill and care, following all Safe Handling procedures.
• Interact warmly and professionally with customers, ensuring their satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records, including Daysheets, Worksheets, and Pet Reports.
• Perform grooming services conscientiously, according to quality standards and customer requests.
• Keep work areas organized, clean, and sanitized; report equipment issues promptly.
• Use products appropriately, follow label instructions, and assist in inventory management.
• Collaborate with management and staff to ensure smooth salon operations.
• Support team training and mentoring when qualified, and promote additional services and referrals.
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Lift up to 40 pounds frequently, stand and walk for extended periods, and handle dogs on leashes safely.
• Handle exposure to chemicals, dander, and excretions professionally.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a love for animals and patience in handling pets.

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of dog bathing experience
