Our pet bathers are an essential part of our busy salons, focusing on bathing dogs of all sizes and temperaments to ensure they look their best. Additional responsibilities include brushing, trimming nails, and performing add-on services.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of each pet; handle pets with skill and care following all procedures.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction, interacting warmly and professionally.
• Maintain all records neatly and accurately.
• Perform grooming tasks to high standards, following customer requests and established procedures.
• Keep work areas clean and sanitized, and handle equipment carefully.
• Assist with inventory management and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members and follow managerial directives to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain productivity while ensuring safety and quality; accept additional grooming tasks as needed.
• If qualified, mentor and train new staff, and promote additional services and customer referrals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift 40 pounds frequently
• Stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
• Handle dogs on leashes confidently
• Work in environments with disinfectants, dander, and animal excretions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Love of animals and patience in handling pets
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Experience: At least 1 year of dog bathing experience
