The Professional Development & Employee Experience Coordinator plays a key role in supporting a positive and engaging employee experience across the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support. This position coordinates professional development programs, employee engagement initiatives, conferences, and student employment activities while providing responsive customer service and administrative support for Human Resources operations. The coordinator works closely with employees, applicants, campus partners, and other stakeholders to help deliver organized, efficient, and employee-focused HR programs and services.
Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Manager of Professional Development by coordinating division-wide professional development programs, employee engagement initiatives, conferences, workshops, leadership programs, mentorship activities, recognition events, and student employment initiatives.
Coordinate calendars, meeting logistics, registrations, travel arrangements, catering, audiovisual needs, facility reservations, presenter communications, conference materials, and participant correspondence for divisional, university-wide, and system-level events.
Maintain professional development calendars, registration systems, participant databases, attendance records, learning management materials, and program documentation.
Prepare presentations, training materials, marketing communications, websites, newsletters, promotional materials, surveys, evaluations, reports, and correspondence supporting professional development and employee experience initiatives.
Assist with planning and coordinating employee recognition programs including GEMS, divisional awards, appreciation events, fellowship programs, mentorship activities, and employee engagement initiatives.
Provide administrative support for conference planning activities including proposal management, presenter communications, registration coordination, budget tracking, vendor coordination, event logistics, and post-conference assessments.
Coordinate communications with campus departments, system institutions, community partners, vendors, presenters, and conference participants to ensure successful execution of professional development and employee experience programs.
Maintain records related to professional development participation, conference attendance, employee recognition programs, student employment initiatives, and assessment outcomes. Assist in compiling reports, analyzing participation data, and preparing summaries to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Serve as the primary administrative and customer service contact for the Human Resources office by managing departmental phone lines, and shared email accounts.
Provide timely, accurate, and professional assistance to employees, applicants, supervisors, campus partners, and visitors regarding Human Resources policies, procedures, programs, and services.
Receive, assess, prioritize, and route inquiries to appropriate HR staff while ensuring exceptional customer service and timely follow-up.
Maintain a working knowledge of university policies, Human Resources procedures, and administrative systems to respond to routine inquiries and support office operations.
Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling personnel information and sensitive Human Resources records.

Coordinate administrative operations for the Human Resources office including ordering office supplies, maintaining equipment, processing mail, shipping and receiving, scheduling conference rooms, coordinating vendors, and maintaining office resources.
