Job summary

Mazzella is seeking a Driver to deliver and pick up products, ensuring timely, safe, and courteous service. You will represent the company professionally, meet customer needs, and help drive profitability.

Responsibilities include following routes and schedules, performing pre-delivery checks, loading/unloading, and maintaining logs. The role requires strong time management, safety awareness, and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management skills.
• Must be able to lift and/or pull a minimum of 50 pounds frequently.
• Valid current driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain DOT certification.
• Previous experience operating propane powered forklift strongly preferred.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Strong analytical, conceptual and planning skills are required.
• Excellent math skills and PC literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of products to different addresses and routes.
• Follow route and time schedule.
• Perform routine pre-delivery checks on the truck (tire pressure, oil, fuel).
• Pack and load trucks according to company specifications.
• Unload goods per customer specifications.
• Follow maintenance schedule on trucks as outlined by Supervisor.
• Notify Supervisor of truck issues and ensure corrections.
• Record daily delivery pickup logs and maintain them.
• Arrive on time for work, meetings, and related functions.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain security of credentials, as applicable.
