Job summary

Keystone Cooperative in Kentucky seeks a Professional Custom Applicator to apply fertilizer products and crop protection safely at customer sites, operate and maintain application equipment, and foster strong customer relations.

The role supports field operations, logs all activity, and adheres to Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT regulations. A state commercial applicator certification and Ag CDL are required, with overtime as seasonal demand dictates.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; experience may offset.
• Need valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving checks.
• Must obtain state commercial applicator certification.
• Agricultural CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Apply crop protection and fertilizer safely and efficiently.
• Use application equipment to ensure correct products and rates.
• Assist with mixing, loading, unloading, and transport of products.
• Follow safety laws, PPE, and handling regulations.
• Maintain equipment logs and perform calibrations and preventive maintenance.
• Comply with environmental, health, safety and DOT policies.
• Assist other team members with field operations and scouting.
