Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a professional Applicator to safely apply crop protection products, fertilizer, and lime to labeled fields across our locations. You will operate and maintain application equipment, build customer relationships, and relay field conditions to management.

The role requires a valid CDL and state certification, with overtime during peak seasons. You will follow all safety rules and regulations while ensuring accurate product labeling and billing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; experience may offset.
• Must obtain state commercial applicator certification.
• Minimum 1 year of application experience required.
• Valid driver’s license; must meet Motor Vehicle Record requirements.
• Minimum Ag CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Apply crop protection, fertilizer, and lime safely and efficiently.
• Use equipment guidance to ensure correct products and rates are applied and billed to fields/customers.
• Assist in mixing, loading, unloading, and transporting products.
• Follow all laws, regulations, and PPE safety rules in handling and applying products and storing chemicals.
• Maintain applicator and equipment logs; perform calibrations and maintenance as recommended.
• Perform pre-field and post-field inspections of equipment.
• Maintain safety equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Comply with tank mixing, rinsing, and washing guidelines; operate at the location.
• Assist teammates with various physical duties to support location operations.
