Job summary

Rina's Little Angels Nursery School in San Francisco, CA seeks a passionate Preschool Teacher to guide children aged 2–5 in a play-based, Reggio Emilia-inspired setting. You will create engaging activities, foster a safe classroom, and support families daily.

Qualifications

• Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children (ages 2–5) in a childcare or educational setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood education (ECE) principles and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to meet California Title 22 childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for mixed-age groups (2–5 years old).
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that supports early childhood development.
• Supervise and engage children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, and daily routines.
• Observe and document children's developmental milestones and progress.
• Communicate regularly with team, parents and guardians regarding their child's growth and daily activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to maintain a cohesive, positive learning community.
• Ensure classroom safety, cleanliness, and compliance with licensing and health regulations.
