Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking a caring Toddler Teacher for a classroom focused on children aged 12–24 months. You will create a safe, engaging space and guide early learning through hands-on activities, play, music, movement, and exploration.

This role emphasizes building strong relationships with children and families, following the LEAP curriculum, and supporting development in a supportive team environment. Competitive benefits and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have at least six months of professional childcare or teaching experience.
• Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and strong communication with families are important.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom for children aged 12–24 months.
• Follow the LEAP curriculum and make learning fun through hands-on activities, play, music, and exploration.
• Help children build social and early learning skills.
• Support children as they develop independence and reach milestones.
• Provide a caring routine including meals, naps, diapering, and activities.
• Build strong relationships with children and families and communicate daily progress.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Age Group: 12 months-24 months

As a Toddler Teacher, You Will:

• Help children build important social, emotional, and early learning skills.
• Support children as they develop their independence and reach new milestones.
• Provide a caring and consistent routine throughout the day, including meals, naps, diapering, and classroom activities.
• Build strong relationships with children and their families.
• Communicate with families about their child's day, progress, and special moments.
• Work closely with your teaching team to provide a positive and consistent classroom experience.
• Keep the classroom clean, organized, and ready for learning and play.

Do You:

• Have a genuine love for working with young children?
• Have professional experience working with children? (Preferred)
• Have at least six months of professional childcare or teaching experience? (Required)
• Have an Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field? (Preferred)
• Have a High School Diploma or GED? (Required)
• Have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and enjoy being part of a team?
