Job summary

Oakdale Early Learning Center in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an enthusiastic daycare teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for working with young children and a commitment to a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.

You will develop lesson plans, implement activities, and guide students to support their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a childcare facility.
• CDA or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development, experience implementing lesson plans, and evaluations with infants/young children would be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate preschool lesson plans.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for learning.
• Supervise children in the classroom and playground.
• Encourage social interaction among students.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior.
• Communicate with parents about their child's development and behavior.
