Job summary

Oakdale Early Learning Center in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an enthusiastic daycare teacher to join a small, family-oriented team. You will develop developmentally appropriate lesson plans and guide preschoolers in social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth in a safe, nurturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a childcare facility is required.
• A CDA or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development is preferred and helpful for the role.
• Experience implementing lesson plans and evaluations with infants/young children is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for preschool children.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
• Supervise children in the classroom and on the playground.
• Encourage social interaction among students.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior.
• Communicate with parents about their child's development and behavior.
