Job summary

Mathnasium of Upper Arlington is seeking enthusiastic instructors to teach math using the Mathnasium Method in our in-center setting. You will work with a team to deliver individualized instruction to K-12 students in a small-group environment, monitor progress, and keep sessions engaging with real-world examples.

No lesson planning is required; we provide curriculum, pacing guides, and ongoing coaching to help you grow.

Qualifications

• Strong math skills from Kindergarten through Algebra I (preference for Algebra and beyond, including Pre-Calculus and ACT/SAT).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for working with kids.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Availability for 2+ afternoon shifts (Sun-Thur, 3-4hrs).
• All applicants must complete a math literacy test to demonstrate proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-center using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students' progress and engagement during sessions.
