Job summary

Mathnasium of Mathnasium (ID: 2423201) seeks a dedicated Math Instructor/Tutor to join our team. You will lead small-group instruction, assess student progress, and communicate with parents while using the Mathnasium Method™.

The role offers consistent, part-time hours after school and on weekends, a supportive work culture, and opportunities for professional development. Training and materials are provided.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and helping students succeed.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with parents and guardians.
• Willingness to learn and receive training on Mathnasium methodologies.
• Solid math competency through at least Algebra I.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and collaborate with team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement during sessions.
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians.
• Teach in-center and online using the Mathnasium Method™ and related materials.

What you will do as a Math Instructor / Tutor:

• Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians
• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes

• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
• Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities
