Job summary

A Mothers Touch LLC in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our caring team. You will provide personalized support to individuals with disabilities, helping with daily living activities and promoting independence.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, implementing ISP plans, documenting progress, and coordinating with families and the care team. The role requires empathy, reliability, and a patient, person-centered approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic and person-centered approach.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts.
