Job summary

RT Specialty, LLC, a leading wholesale distributor of specialty insurance products, seeks a Broker Assistant for its Professional & Executive Liability team. The role provides operational support across policy lifecycle, endorsements, and account documentation, in-office across NYC, Chicago, Atlanta, or San Francisco.

Ideal candidates have a relevant degree and an active Property & Casualty license or the willingness to obtain one within 90 days, with strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management & Insurance, Business, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• Active Property & Casualty license or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day servicing and administration of Professional & Executive Liability accounts.
• Assist brokers with quoting, quote issuance, binder preparation, policy processing, endorsements, and documentation.
• Review policies, endorsements, binders, and related documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare renewal marketing materials, submissions, cover letters, and other brokerage documents.
• Maintain accurate client, policy, and transaction information in agency management systems.
• Respond to inquiries from brokers, underwriters, carrier partners, clients, and colleagues promptly.
