Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Productivity Analyst/ Leader to join our Newton, NC team. This role drives operational excellence, labor productivity, efficiency improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives by applying Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methods.

You will partner with production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and finance to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and overall productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing/industrial engineering/CI experience.
• Strong knowledge of process analysis and performance management.
• Advanced Excel and data-analytics tooling (Power BI/Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Provide data-driven insights to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Lead Lean initiatives such as Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Standard Work.
• Analyze operations, collect and interpret data, and present performance reports and forecasts.
• Monitor KPIs and recommend continuous improvement actions.
• Train team members in productivity tools and standard processes.

Job Description Summary

Dauch is searching for a Productivity Analyst/ Leader to join our team. This position will be based out of our Newton, NC location. The Productivity Analyst/Leader is responsible for driving operational excellence, labor productivity, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction initiatives. This role combines Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous improvement principles to identify opportunities, implement sustainable solutions, and deliver measurable business results. They partner closely with production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and finance teams to improve performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.

Job Description

• Proficiency in data analysis software such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Capability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical partners.
• Facilitate LEAN Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work, and Waste Elimination
• Analyze business operations and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for productivity improvements.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to develop and present performance reports, trends, and forecasts.
• Conduct time studies, process mapping, and benchmarking
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvements based on data analysis.
• Train and support team members in the use of productivity tools and standard processes.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging productivity-enhancing technologies.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Operations Management, or similar.
• 1-3 years of Manufacturing, Industrial engineering, or continuous improvement exp.
• Strong knowledge of business process analysis, process optimization, and performance management.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, data analytics tools, and Power BI
