Your Opportunity as Utility 1 - Production 2nd shift

As a part of the Production Team, you are responsible for bakery manufacturing activities. As a Utility 1 worker, you must work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, work well in a team, and be flexible in work assignments within the utility category. These assignments include: Pan Setter, Feeder, Packer/Carton, Packer/Cases, Shipping Stacker, Handler, Sanitor, Receiver, Palletizer. You should follow written and verbal instructions, complete duties safely and accurately, and maintain GMP standards. You will also be part of the Food Defense Team.

Location and Work Arrangements

Indianapolis, IN - Manufacturing Plant. 100% on-site work.

Compensation

Base Rate: $21.13/hour plus $0.25 differential, working 6pm-6am.

In this Role You Will
  1. Work on one production line in various roles, such as Helper, Indexer, Feeder, Packer, Catcher, etc.
  2. Perform manual tasks to grasp, lift, move, and stack items related to production.
  3. Feed, catch, and monitor the production line.
  4. Inspect products for quality and quantity.
  5. Support quality control to ensure food safety and quality standards.
  6. Report equipment issues promptly.
  7. Follow safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols.
  8. Maintain a clean and safe environment following GMP and safety policies.
  9. Assist with cleaning and sanitation as needed.
  10. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Manufacturing environment with potentially loud noise levels.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, handle, reach, and occasionally sit, climb, stoop, kneel, or crawl. Must lift/move up to 50 lbs and push/pull heavy carts. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. Certification may be required for certain equipment use.
