Basic Qualifications

• Access to export-controlled items; employment contingent on lawful access.

Physical Demands / Equipment Used

• Alloy verification equipment, computers, cut-off/grind equipment (manual and auto), shell removal equipment, KOH soak and rinse tanks.
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Manufacturing environment (hot, cold, etc.).
• Use of blast machines, grinding machines, hand tools, hoists.

Position Overview

The Utility Worker supports various hourly jobs (excluding non-fixtured cutting) in the department.

Environmental, Health & Safety Responsibilities

• Implement EHS policies and principles.
• Comply with all EHS regulations.
• Wear required PPE.
• Report injuries and safety concerns.
• Attend EHS training.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate saws, water jet machines, and other cutting equipment.
• Perform alloy verification and maintain traceability.
• Conduct K/O, KOH soak, core removal, water hone, and blast cleaning of castings.
• Maintain proper identification and records of castings.
• Keep work area clean and safe, follow safety rules.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
