Job summary

Elite Staffing, Inc. in Waukegan, IL is seeking a Production Worker / Production Operator to support liquids manufacturing and filling operations.

You will operate filling, capping, labeling, induction sealing, coding and packaging equipment. The role requires at least 1 year in a manufacturing or production environment, GMP compliance, ability to read work instructions, basic math, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing, distribution, assembly, or production environment.
• GMP regulated environment preferred (food, beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, CPG).
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, SOPs, quality standards and safety procedures.
• Basic math skills including counting, measuring, and basic arithmetic.
• Commitment to personal and workplace safety with awareness of safety of self and others.
• Strong teamwork and accountability; adhere to attendance and shift schedules.
• Follow GMP and PPE requirements (hair nets, beard nets, safety glasses, gloves, footwear).
• Willingness to follow changing priorities and work assignments.
• Ability to work in a structured manufacturing environment and support multiple lines.

Responsibilities

• Operate liquid filling, capping, labeling, induction sealing, coding, and packaging equipment.
• Load bottles, caps, labels, cartons, and packaging materials onto production lines.
• Monitor equipment for proper operation and report abnormalities to leadership.
• Assist with product changeovers, line clearances, startups, and shutdowns.
• Verify product codes, batch numbers, lots, labels, and packaging materials.
• Meet production output while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Stage raw materials and packaging supplies for production.
• Transfer ingredients, totes, containers, and finished goods safely and efficiently.
• Support tote transfers, ingredient additions, and line replenishment activities.

Production Worker /Production Operator

Responsible for supporting liquids manufacturing and filling operations by safely operating equipment, handling materials, and packaging finished goods. This role works in a manufacturing environment that may involve exposure to liquid ingredients, fragrances, cleaning chemicals, solvents, and industrial processing equipment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing, distribution, assembly, or production environment
• Experience in a GMP regulated, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, consumer packaged goods, or contract manufacturing environment-preferred
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, SOP’s, quality standards and safety procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills including counting, measuring, addition, subtractions, multiplications, and division.
• Demonstrated commitment to personal and workplace safety with a strong awareness of the safety of oneself and others.
• Strong personal organization and accountability, including adherence to attendance expectations, start times, break schedules, and company policies.
• Ability to consistently comply with GMP and PPE requirements, including hair nets, beard nets, safety glasses, gloves, and safety footwear.
• Ability and willingness to follow verbal and written instructions and accept changing work assignments and production priorities.
• Ability to work effectively in a disciplined and structured manufacturing environment.
• Strong teamwork skills with a commitment to supporting customer service levels, production goals, and team success.
• Flexibility to support multiple production lines or departments as operational needs require.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to continuous improvement

Job Duties:

1st shift – 6:55 AM – 3:00 PM (35-minute paid lunch)

$17.00/hr
