Vantage Elevation, LLC is seeking a Production Worker (Probationary) for the Crate Building and Hanger Assembly Department in the Bronx, NY. This full-time, union role offers day shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) and on-site work with weekly pay.

You will assemble crates with nail guns, operate hanger assembly machinery, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced plant. Training provided, with union benefits after 90 days once eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• 1–2 years in machine operation or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong safety and quality standards understanding.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multiple machines.
• Must lift over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Work safely and follow EH&S policies.

Vantage is seeking a motivated Production Worker (Probationary) that will be able to perform a variety of interlock and assembly jobs that will run throughout the whole plant, with a focus on crate building. The Production Worker must be able to perform well in the fast-paced manufacturing plant, including having outstanding communication and work ethics. They must also be able to operate equipment to meet facility goals for safety, quality, productivity and teamwork.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in machine operation or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety and quality standards.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multiple machines.
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds
• Ability to use a nailer and other machinery repeatedly for crate building and other production tasks.
• Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, and climbing during 8–10-hour shifts.
• Good record-keeping and measurement skills.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance
  • Work safely and comply with all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
  • Proactively identify and report potential hazards for corrective action.
• Production & Quality
  • Assemble wooden crates using nail guns according to specifications.
  • Must be able to lift wood and be moving consistently throughout the day.
  • Operate hanger assembly machinery and perform machine set-up as required.
  • Monitor process parameters to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Perform quality inspections using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures).
  • Recommend preventative maintenance or repairs to maintain equipment reliability.
  • Adapt to changes in production priorities and meet hourly/daily targets.
• Teamwork & Communication
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to maintain workflow.
  • Support a cohesive team environment and assist others as needed.
• Other Duties
  • Work safely and comply with all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
  • Proactively identify and report potential hazards for corrective action.

Benefits Of Working With Us

• Weekly Pay: $17.00 per hour (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and in keeping with local legislation).
