Lignetics, INC. is seeking a Production Worker / Packaging Operator in California. The role involves operating bagging and baler machinery, moving and wrapping products, and maintaining a safe, clean workstation. Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

Shift is Wed-Sat/Thu-Sat from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, full-time, with a $19/hour wage. Experience with forklifts and production lines is preferred. Must read scales, follow LO/TO protocols, and communicate safely in English.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift and production line experience preferred.
• Ability to understand English safety commands, alarms, and hazard notices in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in reading and following LO/TO procedures and manuals.
• Good eye-hand-foot coordination and basic math.

Responsabilidades

• Operate bagging and baler machines and assist with two required functions.
• Move, wrap, and stage completed products.
• Maintain safe and clean workstation and follow safety guidelines.
• Assist Shift Leads to start/stop pellet mills.
• Report any moisture or material issues to Shift Lead.
• Communicate machine malfunctions or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Support other production areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Production Worker / Packaging Operator

Salary: $19/hour

Shift: Wed-Sat/Thu-Sat 6:00PM - 6:00AM.

Production Worker / Packaging Operator Responsibilities

• The packaging operator is required to perform two functions: the bagging operation and the baler operation. The packaging operator must maintain the ability to perform both bagging and baler functions as determined by the Shift Leads
• Operate machinery in a productive manner using the established safety guidelines and procedures.
• Responsible for assisting other production areas, as needed.
• Move and wrap completed products.
• Will be lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for a minimum of 7 hours per day
• Assist the Shift Leads to start and stop the pellet mills.
• Communicate any moisture or material problems to Shift Lead.
• Maintain a clean workstation.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Bagging Operation

• Responsible for operating a variety of machinery, primarily bagging and baler machines, shrink wrapping machines, forklifts, pallet jack, and bag sealer.
• Stacking bags on pallets, putting covers on pallets and placing finished goods in the correct warehouse location.
• Position requires accurate completion of the Bagger production report, filling pellet sample cups every ton for quality control information, and tagging pallet with Quality Control tag with initials, date, ton number, and the shift the pallet was completed.

The Baler Operation

• Stacking bales on pallets, sealing bales with an iron, and wrapping pallets.
• Position requires accurate completion of the Baler Operator production report, checking bale weight, and recording information on various reports and quality control tags.

Production Worker / Packaging Operator Qualifications/Education

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior forklift and production line experience preferred.
• Ability to immediately understand and react to verbal safety commands, audio alarms, and written hazard alerts in English in a Manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in English to accurately read, interpret, and execute equipment lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) protocols and machine operation manuals.
• Sufficient English verbal skills to clearly and instantly report machine malfunctions, near-misses, or unsafe floor conditions to supervisors and team members.
• This role operates in the immediate vicinity of fast-moving, heavy automated equipment. Clear, real-time communication and strict adherence to English-language safety signage are mandatory for workplace safety.
• Will require good eye, hand, and foot coordination.
• Will need to pass the company forklift training.
• Required to read and interpret scales.
• Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to adjust the weight and timing of baler and various other simple maintenance problems.
• Requires the ability to do simple math calculations.
